Day 1: Zagreb
Arrive into Zagreb, day at leisure. Overnight Zagreb.
Day 2: Zagreb
This morning take a walking tour of Zagreb. On the welcoming walk you will visit the oldest parts of the city, hear genuine Zagreb stories and legends and enjoy a walk through the green promenade in good company with the guide. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight in Zagreb.
Day 3: Zagreb – Plitvice Lakes National Park. After breakfast pick up your car rental vehicle and drive out of Zagreb to Plitvice Lakes National Park. The drive will take approximately 1.5 hours. After your arrival enjoy a lunch at the hotel before doing a guided walk of the park. Discover the park with its cascading lakes and waterfalls that are part of the UNESCO Heritage List. Overnight in Plitvice Lakes.
Day 4: Plitvice Lakes National Park – Split
After a leisurely breakfast continue further to Split (drive approximately 2.5 to 3 hours). Arrive at Split, drop your car back and check into your hotel, rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Split.
Day 5: Split
Today enjoy a private 2 hour sightseeing tour of the city. Split is the biggest city in Dalmatia and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The rich cultural and monumental heritage of this 1,700-year old city is seen on a walking tour. View remnants of the city’s Roman heritage, its Renaissance and Gothic structures, and its contemporary attractions. The tour will mainly focus on the 3rd century Diocletian’s Palace, which represents the heart of the city, and where the most important historical buildings can be found. The remainder of the day is at leisure. Overnight Split.
Day 6: Split – Island of Hvar
Today take a ferry to the Island of Hvar, Rest and relaxation for the rest of the afternoon. Overnight in Hvar.
Day 7: Island of Hvar
Enjoy a local guide for 2 hours today. The town of Hvar is abundant in historical monuments. A visit to the 16th country Theatre, the 13th century Arsenal, or squares surrounded by numerous churches and palaces in different architectural styles only confirm the picture.The Franciscan monastery in the town is known for its collection of old masters, including the “Last Supper” by Ingoli. Overnight in Hvar.
Day 8: Hvar – Korčula
Today you will be transferred back to the pier for a ferry to Korčula. Upon arrival a transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Korčula.
Day 9: Korčula
Spend the day exploring this island gem of Croatia. Korčula has a legendary past, deemed by many as Marco Polo’s birthplace and before that as home to one of the Homeric heroes: this quaint island offers secluded little bays, unspoilt natural beauties and small towns of red-roofed houses. Korčula walking tours are available to learn the history of the island. Overnight in Korčula.
Day 10: Korčula – Dubrovnik
After breakfast you will be transferred to the pier for a ferry to Dubrovnik. A transfer on arrival will take you to your hotel for the night. Overnight in Dubrovnik.
Day 11: Dubrovnik
Today take part in a walking tour to discover the many wonderful attractions of Dubrovnik, a charming Adriatic port and city inscribed on the UNESCO’s World List of Cultural Heritage, with a private sightseeing tour. This ancient town, surrounded by ramparts and fortresses, is a treasure trove of architectural and cultural master places, scrupulously preserved over the centuries. Take a walk to the Rector’s Palace, The Franciscan Monastery with its 14th century Pharmacy, or one of the other places of interest and just wander around
in amazement through its cobbled streets along the Venetian facades of the stone houses. Overnight in Dubrovnik.
Day 12: Dubrovnik
