Day 1: Arrive in Bled
Arrive into Ljubljana with a transfer to Bled. Overnight stay in Bled.

Day 2: Bled
Wake up in the gorgeous village of Bled. Explore the town seeing Bled Castle, Church on the Island or perhaps take a pletna boat ride on the lake. Overnight at your hotel in Bled.

Day 3: Bled to Ljubljana
After breakfast, visit the most significant sights of the old city centre: the picturesque Central open-air Market and the Three Bridges that were both designed by famous architect Joze Plecnik, Baroque Town Hall and Robba’s Fountain. Overnight in Ljubljana.

Day 4: Ljubljana to Zagreb
Today after checking out of your hotel, take a transfer to Ljubljana railway station for your rail journey across the border. Welcome to Croatia! Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Zagreb.

Day 5: Zagreb
View the highlights of the Croatian capital on a private city sightseeing tour this morning. With a history dating back to 1094, there is much to see here. In the “Upper Town,” snap photos of the Cathedral of Mary’s Assumption and Gothic Church of St. Mark. Next, visit the “Lower Town,” featuring the main square of Jelacic. The balance of the day is at leisure to continue exploring on your own, shop, or relax in a café.

Day 6: Zagreb to Plitvice National Park
In the morning you will be transferred to the Plitvice Lakes National Park. In the afternoon you will have time to discover the park with its cascading lakes and waterfalls that are part of the UNESCO Heritage List. Have your camera ready and perhaps enjoy a guided tour seeing the amazing cascading lakes, a series of 16 interconnected turquoise lakes separated into upper and lower clusters formed from basins of limestone and dolomites. The lakes are renowned for their distinctive colours ranging from azure to green, grey or blue. The colours change constantly depending on the quantity of minerals or organisms in the water and the angle of the sunlight. Overnight in Plitvice.

Day 7: Plitvice to Split
In the afternoon you have a private car transfer to Split. Rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 8: Split
In the morning enjoy a private sightseeing tour of the city. Split is the biggest city in Dalmatia and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The rich cultural and monumental heritage of this 1,700-year old city is seen on a walking tour. View remnants of the city’s Roman heritage, its Renaissance and Gothic structures, and its contemporary attractions. The tour will mainly focus on the 3rd century Diocletian’s Palace, which represents the heart of the inner city, and where all the most important historical buildings can be found. The remainder of the day is at leisure.

Day 9: Split to Dubrovnik
This morning, transfer to the Split bus station for your coach to Dubrovnik. Upon arrival, transfer to your Dubrovnik hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 10: Dubrovnik
Morning walking tour of this beautiful city, a UNESCO Cultural Heritage site. Surrounded by ramparts and fortresses, this ancient town is a treasure trove of architectural and cultural masterpieces, carefully preserved over the centuries. Take a pleasant walk tothe Rector’s Palace, the Franciscan Monastery with its 14th century Pharmacy, as well as to the other places of interest. The remainder of the day is at leisure.

Day 11: Depart Dubrovnik
Your trip will conclude with a transfer to Dubrovnik airport.

Day 1: Depart from Venice/Trieste to Piran
Take a train from Venice Santa Lucia station to Trieste Centrale. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred by private car to Piran, Slovenia. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Piran.

Day 2: Piran/Portoroz
Enjoy your day in the Piran and Portoroz area. Piran, a small medieval town poking out into the Adriatic Sea is rich in architectural heritage. Walk the narrow cobblestone streets and make your way to St George’s Church where the views are stunning. Have an option to visit neighbouring Portoroz, a popular tourist resort to see the Secovlje Salt  pans where they still produce salt the same way they have been doing for hundreds of years. Return to Piran for your overnight stay. (B)

Day 3: Piran/Postojna to Ljubljana
After a leisurely breakfast you will be picked up from your hotel and driven to Postojna Caves & Predjama Castle. Visit the largest cave in the “classic karst” and the most visited show cave in Europe. Predjama Castle is a medieval castle built into a cliff and is approximately 10 minutes drive from the caves. After your tours you will be transferred to Ljubljana. Overnight in Ljubljana. (B)

Day 4: Ljubljana to Bled
This morning see the most significant sights of the old city centre: the picturesque Central open-air Market and the Three Bridges, both designed by famous architect Joze Plecnik, Baroque Town Hall and Robba’s Fountain. Later in the afternoon you will be transferred to Bled. Overnight in Bled. (B)

Day 5: Bled
Bled is well known for its small island in the middle of emerald glacial lake and its castle perched on the cliff above the lake. Take the typical boat named “pletna” and visit the small island with the baroque church and toll the bell. Then you can visit the Bled castle, enter to the museum or just enjoy a marvellous view of Bled and surroundings mountains. Maybe enjoy coffee and the local Slovenian speciality cream cake, Kreme Schnitte in one of the many lakeside cafes. Overnight in Bled. (B)

Day 6: Depart Bled to Trieste/Venice or Ljubljana airport
Today have the choice of being transferred to Ljubljana airport, Venice airport or Trieste Centrale railway station for your onward journey. (B)

After spending your day in Venice prepare for your late afternoon fast catamaran across the Adriatic to Rovinj, Croatia. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Overnight in Rovinj.

Day 2: Rovinj (Croatia)
Spend your whole day in this amazing seaside medieval town. Walk the cobblestone lanes around the walled town and make your way to the top of the island to see the Church of St Euphemia. To get the best view, climb the stairs up the steeple to be rewarded with views of the surrounding area and the Adriatic. Overnight in Rovinj.

Day 3: Rovinj (Croatia) to Ljubljana (Slovenia)
After a leisurely breakfast you will be picked up from your hotel and driven to Postojna Caves & Predjama Castle. Your day will finish in Maribor where you can walk the promenade along the River Drava called Lent or have a wine tasting at the site of the oldest grapevine in the world. Overnight in Maribor. (B)

Day 6: Novo Mesto (Otocec)
Today you will be picked up and transferred to the Novo Mesto region an area rich in Thermal Spas with the healing waters. Arrive at Otocec Castle for your overnight stay. Spend the afternoon relaxing in the gardens or perhaps arrange a spa visit. Overnight Otocec. (B)

Day 7: Piran
Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast you will be picked up and driven to Postojna Caves & Predjama Castle. Visit the largest cave system in Europe. Tour the fantastic subterranean world by miniature electric train. Combine the caves with a visit to Predjama Castle. After your tours continue on to the Slovenian coastal town of Piran. (B).
