Split is surrounded by many beautiful towns, picturesque villages and islands and is highly recommended for short pre or post tour or cruise stays.

Visit Diocletian’s Palace & Dubrovnik
Day 1: Arrive Split
On arrival at Split Airport you will be met and transferred to your hotel or, if arriving by car, drive to your hotel and check in with the rest of the day free to get to know Split.
Day 2: Split
Join our walking tour and journey through 1700 years of history to admire Split’s art and architecture and unlock Split’s many secrets. The tour includes Diocletian’s palace, St. Duje Cathedral, Peristil, statue of Gregory of Nin, Vestibul, Riva Promenade, City Clock, City Hall and much more. The rest of the day is at leisure to further explore Split’s most famous attraction – the imposing remains of Diocletian’s Palace.
Day 3: Full day excursion to Plitvice Lakes National Park
(Daily departures May to Sept. Departs Mon, Wed, Fri in April & Oct)
Have an early departure from Split and head to Plitvice Lakes National Park. The unity and harmony of the 16 lakes and their rare natural and cultural value is not only famous in Croatia but also worldwide. Arriving at Plitvice we have a guided sightseeing tour of the park including a peaceful boat ride towards Donja Jezera which is placed in a limestone canyon. At the end we suggest you taste local dishes from the area in a local tavern (optional). Then we drive back to Split with arrival around 8pm.
Day 4: Split
Your stay ends with a transfer to Split airport.

Hvar & Pakleni Islands (Tuesday & Friday – seasonal, 8.30m to 6.00pm)
Surrounded by the blue Adriatic, we make our way to the lavender island of Hvar. Take a guided tour of the glittering port of Hvar town. Look out for the stunning Fortica fortress, which sits high above the town to guard its many treasures. There’s time to explore more on your own – the craft and custom jewellery shopping here is excellent.
It’s just a few minutes sail to Pakleni but it’s a world away. Here you will have free time to explore and swim in tranquil bays framed by untouched nature. We will also make a stop in Milna, a seaside village on the island of Brac. Experience this decidedly authentic Croatian town and enjoy local wine tasting of high quality wines of the Dalmatian region. Relax and enjoy a lovely cruise back to Split. Includes transport by speed boat, guided tour of Hvar, wine tasting on Milna, snorkelling gear.
Mostar & Medjugorje (Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday, 7.30 am to 7.00pm)
On our way to Mostar we will stop in the walled town of Pocitelj, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. On arrival in Mostar our city guide introduces us to the great history of this city known as “the window to the Orient”. Enjoy a walk along the UNESCO protected Old Bridge from the 16th century with free time for shopping and photos. We then continue to one of the most visited pilgrimage centres in Europe, Medjugorje. The most compelling sight is the Mount of Appearance where Virgin Mary is reported to have appeared to children in 1981 for the first time. As an option you may also enjoy some wonderful swimming in the nearby Kravice Waterfalls. After this beautiful experience we travel home to Split. Passports required. Includes transfers and guidance.
Krka Waterfalls & Sibenik (Tuesday, Thursday & Sunday, 8.15 am to 7.30pm)
Begin by driving along the border between the coast and the hinterland on to Krka National Park and Skradinski Buk, one of the best known natural beauties of Croatia. A guided tour of authentically restored ensemble of small stone houses, workshops, exhibits and watermills which show how water used to make village life possible and sustainable centuries ago. Our minivan will then take you to Roski slap, a beautiful, untouched nature area situated in the upper part of the Krka river canyon, perfect for swimming and relaxation. During the break you will have the opportunity for an optional lunch in a typical Dalmatian konoba (tavern). Continue our trip to the seaside city of Sibenik to see its main attractions – including St James’ Cathedral, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site. We return to Split along the beautiful coastal road passing Primosten and Marina. Includes transport, guide, entrance to Krka National Park.
